Who was your favorite teacher?

Teacher retires after 49 years: wlfi.com

My fourth grade teacher, George Knutson, recently retired after 49 years of teaching. Everyday in his classroom was an adventure. Whether it was playing geography games that took us from the small town of Walton, Indiana to the far reaches of the world, building a scale model of the school out of household materials, or reading amazing stories in a teepee that we made. The energy that Mr. Knudson brought to school on a daily basis showed his love for what he did. He took time to get to know as much as he could about each of his students. His example of teaching excellence inspired me to become a teacher. Thanks Mr. Knudson!

So...who was your favorite teacher and why?
